The official Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 live action trailer
Sean Cargle October 29, 2012 - 11:18 pmVideo: Treyarch revealed their Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 live action trailer early today and it is filled with different kinds of celebrities.

Robert Downey Jr., why!?!? It is a little sad that he is only in this trailer for a few seconds, but I’m amazed Treyarch and Activision managed to get a hugely popular actor like him to be in their Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 live action trailer. The trailer, which was directed by Guy Ritchie, was originally supposed to release later today during Monday Night Football in the US, but it has shown up on Youtube a little earlier. The trailer focuses on the many different ways you can outsmart your enemy in Black Ops 2 and how you can do much of it from a distance.
Guy Richtie directed Snatch and Sherlock Holmes, among many other movies, so it was difficult to see what kind of trailer he was going to make for Black Ops 2, but it seems he decided on making it action packed, filled with explosions, all about surprises and filled with celebrities. People have so far picked out the appearances of FPSRussia, Robert Downey Jr., iJustine, Omar Sy, Zach Steel and many others whom I’m not overly familiar with.
I’m not sure why they waste money on a trailer like this with all of these needless celebrity endorsements when instead they could do a super informative gameplay trailer like the Borderlands 2 Sir Hammerlock trailer, but maybe I’m just unfamiliar with the sort of gamers who would be interested in this type of seemingly useless trailer. Regardless, check out the live action trailer and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is set to release on November 13th.
