Video: Rayman Legends Wii U gameplay video shows off fun, HUDless display of an adventure through a grimy landscape.
If you’ve played the original Rayman Origins, you may be able to appreciate some of the subtle differences made in Rayman Legends that are demonstrated in this video.
Have a look for youself:
What caught my attention was the HUDless display. It made everything feel fuller, and while it would be hard to keep track of the data, I’m sure the person who is controlling the teleporting frog on the Wiipad can see all it. In and of itself, it continues to look fun to play, but the weak Wiipad addition looks like it makes things unnecessarily easier, but that’s purely from my perspective.
Rayman Legends is still part of the extremely large Wii U launch window, but it is now in the 2013 frame.
