A violent transformation, Far Cry 3 story trailer
Sean Cargle November 8, 2012 - 12:19 amVideo: Ubisoft just released their latest Far Cry 3 trailer and it gives us a quick look into Far Cry 3′s violent, dramatic and mysterious story.
In Far Cry 3 you play as a man who must transform himself in order to save his friends and get off of the island, but as that happens you turn into a monster of sorts that is necessary to save all of your friends and it takes you down a path full of violence and mayhem. This new Far Cry 3 trailer shows why you must transform into something more, something that can handle the island and all of its dangerous, plus it also shows off quite a few things have never been shown before in motion.
The previous Far Cry 3 trailers were all about the open world, co-op, or development, and even though this one is about the story it still has new things to share. This new trailer shows off sky diving, swimming amongst marine animals, diving off waterfalls, flamethrowers, water skiing, tigers, hang gliding and a whole bunch of narrative. It doesn’t show off much that is new, especially since most of what is new is shown within a thirty second part of the video and some of the story segments are recycled clips from other trailers, but I appreciate them adding some new gameplay on top of all of the reveal of the story. Far Cry 3 will be out later this month, November 30th or December 4th depending on where you are, and I’m really hoping they make up for the disappointment that was Far Cry 2. Check out the trailer.
