Xbox 360 has the best games and, more specifically, the best first person shooters according to a high ranking Microsoft Executive.
Jerry Johnson, Xbox Live Europe General Manager, was speaking in an interview during the launch of the Xbox’s new Sky Player this week. During the interview he had the following to say:
“I’ll come back and say that Xbox has the best games out there. It’s got the best first-person shooter games out there. The exclusives we’ve had over the past years and what we had going into this holiday prove the point that this is still very much at its heart a gaming console.
“There’s nothing we’re going to change with that. You will start to see us, though, do things that are broader marketing and start to expose some of the things that are broader than just first-person shooters.”
So a Microsoft Executive thinks the Xbox is great. Shocking. Though to be fair there is some truth to his comments as the 360 has had more exclusives and big gun Halo 3: ODST is riding high in review scores.

I’m going to have to kick this war off. I had Xbox when it came out. I never owned a playstation because I thought they sucked. I hate jap anamation so much I can’t even spell it and that was a majority of PS and PS2 titles. I got the Xbox 360 when it came out as well. I loved the first Halo. I got pissed off when the second came out, because it was the same. I got more angry when Halo 3 came out, because it was garbage. I swore against PS3 from the moment it came out with all the Microshit propaghanda. After my third xbox 360 burned out I had enough and I bought a PS3 when I was moving in my new house for something to do while my xbox was away. Guess what? It’s better. All you 360 fanboys are suckers and so was I. I know how you are because I was the same way. I bagged on PS3 without even owning one so I didnt know what I was talking about.
Here’s the sham:
PSN is slow: It’s not. I’ve played sports and first person shooters. I’ve played Uncharted 2 on PSN and even with the stellar graphics I had no lag. Less lag than Left For Dead which has garbage graphics (great game none the less).
PS3 has worse games: Which games exactly are they talking about that are better? Halo 3? It’s a children’s game. Face it. The multiplayer is garbage plain and simple. It should have been produced on the first Xbox. I saw ODST coming out and alread before looking at the screenshots knew that it was the same crap they produced on the first halo, second halo, and third.
Lets add up the missing pieces from Xbox360 that Microcrap has you buy:
Playstation has free and faster gaming network. Xbox360 lags and you have to buy their network ($60)which floods you with advertising.
It has a built in browser. No browser for Xobx360. Period.
You can plug in your keyboard and mouse on PS3. You can buy yet another accessory of a nerdy text pad for 360.
You can use your bluetooth from your cellphone for a headset on PS3. You have to purchase a wireless headset for another $60 or suffer a wired to controller headset which lets face it only a knob would use.
You have a wireless adapter built in the PS3. Not in the xbox360 of course. Instead you have to buy yet again another accessory thats another $60 (was 80 when I got it).
That’s $180 in accessories if someone hasn’t done the math. Given I bought a bluetooth for $20 we can say that xbox360 with all the fixings would be 380 total to include what Xbox should have come with in the first place.
Oh lets add one more thing. Blueray. I didn’t know how great it was till I bought my PS3 a couple of months ago. No blueray for Xbox. 300 for ps3, and 380 for a malfunctional Xbox with no blueray still. I’m sorry fanboys but if you defend Xbox you are a idiot. I have three burned ones to prove it.

Good point but you dont have to buy the network adaptor because its just offered by microsoft and xbox doesnt lag. Ive played on xbox live for the best part of 5 years and yes the graphics can be complete rubbish on games like left 4 dead but no left 4 dead on ps3. Also xbox live is so much better than psn and psn is alot slower at downloading games of the playstation store. I hve a ps3 so i know what im saying and i like the ps3 it’s just if a game comes out on both consoles i will always turn to the xbox first.
