Xbox 360 Assassin’s Creed 3 multiplayer experiencing freezing
Anthony Shelton November 2, 2012 - 4:06 pmNews: Players trying to access the multiplayer for Assassin’s Creed 3 are experiencing freezing issues. Ubisoft is working to rectify it.

Anyone trying to play the Assassin’s Creed 3 multiplayer today may have to wait. Many users are experiencing freezing when accessing the multiplayer and Ubisoft is trying to rectify the problem.
A tweet from the Assassin’s Creed twitter account says “Xbox Assassins, we’re experiencing some freezing issues with #AC3 multiplayer but are working to correct ASAP! Sorry for any inconvenience.”
Checking the AC3 forums, users have expressed that the issue begins when the loading reaches the “Updating Animus Parameters” point. Other users have experienced problems when Uplay is checking for the Uplay passport.
Multiplayer has been having problems since yesterday. Another tweet from the AC3 twitter says “We’ve detected instability in the #AC3 multiplayer servers on Xbox 360. We’ll update you when we have an ETA on service restoration.” That was 18 hours ago at the time of writing, and that particular problem has since been resolved.
Since launch, Assassin’s Creed has had work to be done to it, “highly recommending” a day one patch that rectified many of the single-player issues. They’re working for their money, that’s for sure.
As for now, patience will have to be your best friend. Don’t worry, you can assassinate him at the opportune time.

I was able to get mine to work by clearing my system cache on my HDD. I do not know if it will work for everyone but it is worth a try…
Still some freezing. It only helped a little bit but not enough apparently.
I know you can’t anticipate and code for every configuration and situation these days, but with as much as has been needed since launch day, I have to wonder: did they not send the game through some final QA testing or what?
