Watch the Battle Begin in the New Halo: Reach Trailer

I admit that there was a time when Halo was the only game I played, but as more console shooters started coming out – especially Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – I put Master Chief back into his green, rectangular box and retired him to the game shelf. That’s why I feel somewhat ambivalent toward Halo: Reach; the series hasn’t really held much appeal to me in a couple of years, but this game looks like it could make a prodigal son out of me, especially with how impressive Forge World looks. Though as a Halo deserter should I feel ashamed at how awesome I think the new trailer looks? Because space explosions and animated energy swords (lightsabers withheld) are considered too graphic for the BBFC, I’m forced to link to the video instead of embedding it here. Mr. WeaselGamer will probably be happy with the increased YouTube traffic. Be warned: this trailer contains images of almost-violence!
