News: GAME will be not be stocking Ubisoft Vita launch titles, so you’ll have to go elsewhere for the likes of Rayman: Origins.
Were you planning on picking up a Ubisoft title for the PS Vita at tonight’s GAME midnight launch of the handheld console? Well tough luck, as the UK retailer has confirmed it will not be stocking any Ubisoft Vita launch titles.
“At this time we will not be selling the following Ubisoft titles; Lumines Electronic Symphony, Michael Jackson: The Experience, Rayman Origins, Asphalt Injection and Dungeon Hunter Alliance,” said a statement released by the company to VG247.
“All customers affected by this decision have been made aware of the situation and we will continue to communicate any updates to customers through our Twitter and Facebook feeds.”
This news doesn’t come completely out of the blue, as a few weeks ago financial problems hinted at the possibility of GAME not being able to stock certain titles, and it seems we’re starting to see the results of that.
Ubisoft seem to be the only publisher affected, and the Vita’s launch line-up is mighty impressive so you’ll still have plenty of other games to choose from when Sony’s new handheld releases tonight.
You can find all the latest GAME news here at BeefJack. That’s the retailer, although you can find all the latest actual game news here as well, conveniently.
