Ubisoft state Assassin’s Creed III “should be played with a controller” on PC
James Haresign March 29, 2012 - 2:40 pmNews: Assassin’s Creed III creative director, advises PC owners looking forward to the game to get a controller, but the game should be less buggy.
PC optimisation is often a sticky subject. Well, Ubisoft have decided to duck one obstacle and while Assassin’s Creed III will be coming “it’ll be PC with a controller”.
In an interview with GameSpy Assassin’s Creed III creative director Alex Hutchinson stated “We’re definitely supporting PC. We love PC, but I think it’ll be PC with a controller. I don’t see us investing hugely in a mouse and keyboard setup. I think if you want to play on PC and you want to play Assassin’s Creed, you have a controller.”
However, it’s not all doom and gloom, he also addressed the ever-growing trend of games being riddled with bugs on release and his want to address that. “I’m really sick of shipping the first drafts of games. Our goal is to ship Assassin’s Creed 3.5, not just Assassin’s Creed 3.”
