Ubisoft announces Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
Anthony Shelton February 28, 2013 - 8:19 pmAssassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is official. More details coming Monday.

Ahoy, matey. Another Assassin’s Creed game is coming your way. Why the pirate intro? The game is called Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag and I see a pirate flag on the box art, therefore, I assume there are pirates in the game. What I don’t know is if this assassin is the pirate or is he slashing away at rebel pirate assassins. It’s a little hard to tell. We’ll find out soon enough.
A tweet on the Assassin’s Creed twitter feed confirmed the newest entry:

Ubisoft also confirmed more information concerning the game is coming Monday, March 4 at 6PM CET. And because the stupid twitter embed wouldn’t let me take out the picture, you get to look at it again.
We will be announcing all the details of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag on Monday March 4 at 6pm CET. twitter.com/Ubisoft/status… — Ubisoft (@Ubisoft) February 28, 2013
According to GameSpot, the main character will be Haytham Kenway’s father, Edward Kenway. Yes, the Templar Nathan Kenway from AC3. It also seems Ubisoft are giving PlayStation owners 60 more minutes of gameplay. Also, based on the box arts released, it’s confirmed for 360, PS3, PC, and Wii U. No PS4. However, no release date has been announced. That will probably be Monday.
Considering the game is taking place in the shoes of Nathan Kenway’s father, we may get more backstory on the family upbringing and what influenced Nathan to join the Templars, besides their ideals.
Stay tuned to BeefJack for more details which will be coming Monday, anyway.
