Earlier today, THQ announced that they are working on a new party game, Truth or Lies. This project is set to recreate the fun and abject terror created by truth or dare in such a way that the whole family can get in on the action.
In Truth or Lies, up to eight players will be able to get together in a game that will ask them questions out of a 3,000 query bank. Users will take turns answering these silly and provocative inquiries while also facing off in hot spot challenges that allow one player to ask another any question of his/her choice. The game will determine the truth in the various answers by using voice recognition systems to determine the stress level in the user’s vocal tone.
Truth or Lies will be releasing on the Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3 sometime this fall.
