The Ratchet & Clank Trilogy confirmed, out May 16th
James Archer March 16, 2012 - 10:59 amNews: The Ratchet & Clank trilogy will bring remastered editions of the series’ first three games to the PS3 this May, Insomniac Games has announced.
Sony and Insomniac surprised almost one person yesterday by officially confirming an HD collection for the PS2′s fantastic Ratchet & Clank series. According to a blog post by Insomniac CEO Ted Price, The Ratchet & Clank Trilogy – released May 16th – will bring together the original Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank 2: Locked and Loaded and Ratchet & Clank 3, adding 3D and PS3 trophy support and including R&c3′s online multiplayer mode. But then, you probably already kew that.
Remastering duties have been filled by PAIN developers Idol Minds, with help from Insomniac themselves. Check out the EU PlayStation blog for more details and screenshots – though for some bizarre and irritating reason, you’ll need a Yahoo/Flickr account to embiggen them.
