A launch trailer for the Syndicate reboot has been launched ahead of the game’s launch on February 21st. Launch.
No game launch without a launch trailer. So it goes that Syndicate, which is to be released on February 21st, gets one too. It’s the usual affair of snippets of footage shown wholly out of context and interspersed with action-heavy gameplay. If anything, the game looks set to revel in its ‘business is war’ tagline, with people being ‘terminated’ (but like killed actually).
The trailer sure does feature a lot of enigmatic scenes that hint at an elaborate plot featuring Brian Cox being deliciously evil and Rosario Dawson somewhat repentant. See it below.
Uhh, guys? If you’re trying to differentiate your cyberpunk game from Deus Ex: Human Revolution, maybe don’t open your trailer with someone saying “I never wanted this”.
