Spec Ops: The Line receives release date and multiplayer video

News: 2K Games has announced the release date of Spec Ops: The Line, released a multiplayer video, and detailed the premium edition. My they have been busy.

Having released The Darkness 2 the PR campaign for Heart of Darkness Apocalypse Now Spec Ops: The Line can shout “Chocks away” and begin picking up speed before launch. Step one of pre-flight control, arranging time of arrival: the game is set to land in stores on June 26th.

Or, at least, it will if you live in North America. Otherwise it will ship to our fair shores three days later. When will we develop transatlantic flight? WHEN?

As with all major releases, it will come in multiple flavours: vanilla and neopolitan standard and Premium Edition. What can you expect to find in that higher quality vintage (yes, ice creams are referred to as vintages as well)?

First Week Double XP. During your first week, you’ll get double the XP for every match you play.

AK-47. The popular AK-47 will be yours at rank 1.

Officer Class. You’ll be able to play as the “Officer” class from the very beginning, which gives your team advantages such as reduced damage and increasing the effectiveness of other classes.

FUBAR Pack. You get unique accessories to customize your character’s appearance.
