South Park Tower Defence Details

Turns out Microsoft had a hand in the creation of the upcoming XBLA game South Park Tower Defence, well not so much as creation as alteration. Original names for the title were “South Park Suck My Balls,” “South Park Snowballing” and “South Park Barrow, Barrow, Suki,Suki.”; perfectly acceptable as far as I’m concerned but Microsoft wasn’t pleased.
During Comic-Con South Park Digital Studios’ Creative Director Chris Brion revealed this along with achievements that were left on the cutting room floor, such as the “Chasing The Dragon” and the icon for the “How To Eat With Your Butt” achievement.
It’s not all bad news however, although the four boys and Butters are obviously in the game Brion gave details of the additional characters that gamers can expect to play as. Wendy , Bebe, Token, Clyde, Craig, Jimmy and Timmy were all confirmed but sadly Chef was left out not for legal reasons but out of respect for the deceased Isaac Hayes.
South Park Tower Defence has been met with mixed praised when it was revealed recently but the developers Doublesix seem to love the source material and are well aware of the previous failings of South Park Rally and Chef’s Love Shack.
