Sony registers ‘PlayStationallstars.com’ domain
Jamie Donnelly April 23, 2012 - 1:02 pmNews: Sony has registed ‘PlayStationallstars.com’ and ‘PlayStationallstarsbattleroyale.com’ as domain names, furthering evidence pointing towards a PlayStation All-Stars fighting game.

I think I may have figured it out. Earlier today, I was lost in a fluster of rhetorical questions about what game is set to be announced on Thursday on GTTV after Geoff Keighley‘s tweet, but now I reckon it’s surely going to be PlayStation All Stars (or some variant of that name) – a Sony version of Super Smash Bros.
When I say I figured it out, I mean I put two and two together after PlayStation Lifestyle unearthed the domain registrations from Sony for ‘http://playstationallstarsbattleroyale.com’ and ‘http://playstationallstars.com’. Obviously, something else might be announced on Thursday, but the timing seems to coincidental for it not to be the multi-franchise fighter.
When the game is announced, I think I might start a petition to get it banned. If it features all of Sony’s modern poster boys and girls, that means Kratos and Sackboy are likely to be present, and I don’t think I can take watching the Olympic-ravager cleaving Media Molecule’s adorable mascot in half.
