News: Sony’s Scott Rohde assures us that Sony has learned from the PSP, and will not have any good game “droughts” with the PS Vita.

Sony VP of Worldwide Organizations Scott Rohde told Gamasutra that Sony has learned its lesson with the PSP. The company promises that the PlayStation Vita it will not have “droughts” of good games that the PSP suffered from. The first step is having a strong lineup of launch games, as Sony UK and Ireland’s VP Fergal Gara stated last month. But according to Sony, the list of good games will not dwindle down with time.
In fact, says Rohde, “I think that there are some that argue that we may even have too much lined up at launch, but I know we’ve got a lot more in the works.” Sony is putting a lot of resources and effort into the PS Vita’s success. Our own review of the PS Vita says that it might be worth the money, but you will be able to draw your own conclusions when the Vita is released today.
