Fans of the military shooter series SOCOM will have to wait a bit longer for the next game in series, SOCOM 4.
Zipper Interactive, the games developers, announced today that the game wont be released until sometime in 2011. No more specific date was given, but with Killzone 3 set for a February release and rumours persisting about Resistance 3 in 2011, expecting at least this time next year if not holiday 2011.
The official word is that Zipper want to make the most immersive and best game they can, and the extra time will used to do just that. With PlayStation Move support confirmed, it seems next year could be a good year for Sony’s motion control solution.
