News: Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will be released on PS3 and the PS Vita simultaneously and will include “cross-save functionality”, Sanzaru Games has announced.
Writing on the PlayStation Blog, Sanzaru Games president Glen Egan has announced the tasty-looking Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will get a PS Vita release on the same day as its bigger brother, the PS3. Egan says it’ll be pretty much a straight port (with added touch controls), to the extent that it works cross-platform with the PS3 – save your game on the console, and you can pick up where you left off on the Vita. All you’d have to do is…well, buy two copies of what is effectively the same game. I see what you did there, Sanzaru.
The post also turns the spotlight on returning half-fox/half-cop character Carmelita, who’ll be playable for a few sections of Thieves in Time; her style is a tad more shooty-shooty than Sly’s sneaky breaking and entering, making use of an over-the shoulder viewpoint.
