While sifting through all the fake news today I found a juicy tidbit that I prayed was not fake (and it’s not!). Our trusty friends at Nintendo Power have revealed that the original Silent Hill will be getting a remake on the Nintendo Wii.
According to GoNintendo.com, producer Tomm Hulett said that this isn’t a straight port of the original Playstation game.
Tomm Hulett said:
“The characters play different roles, things don’t necessarily happen in the same order, and the story is taken in lots of new directions”
Hulett also mentions motion controls as well as less backtracking compared to the first game (thank god). You still play as the main protagonist Harry Mason and meet very memorable Silent Hill characters. No mention on release date.
