Going out to buy an Xbox 360 today? It might be worth giving it 24 hours, as rumours have it that a new 360 250 GB bundle will launch tomorrow, packing download codes for five of the very best titles in Xbox gaming.
A rumour has emerged that Microsoft will launch a new Xbox 360 bundle tomorrow that will package the 250 Gb SKU of the console with download codes for Halo 3, Halo Wars, Gears of War 2, Fable III and Alan Wake from Xbox Live Games on Demand.
A keen-eyed Canadian Joystiq reader snapped this photograph of new promotional material that had arrived at the store he works in:
The bundle is down to sell for $299 Canadian, and while it could be a Canada-only promotion, it would seem strange for Microsoft to limit it only to that market.
Getting Alan Wake, Gears of War 2, Halo 3, Fable III and Halo Wars for free with the console would represent a great starter pack for anyone new to the 360, but purchasers had better have a decent broadband connection: the combined download for the five games comes to 29.51 GB.
