Resident Evil Revelations includes major typo in advance copies

Capcom has sent out some advance copies of the upcoming 3DS Resident Evil: Revelations to members of the media. But it seems that someone forgot to do some last-minute proofreading, and the copies include a pretty jarring typo. According to the Yahoo! gaming blog, Plugged In, the advance copies misspell the game’s name. Instead of Resident Evil: Revelations, the spine of the game box reads Resident Evil: Revelaitons.
Capcom has apologized for the mistake, promising that it “will be corrected for subsequent productions of the game.” Capcom has also promised to “provide affected customers with the correct packaging.” Lucky for Capcom, Resident Evil: Revelations isn’t out until February 7, so there is still some time to fix the mistake.
Correcting the typo won’t be enough to pull the game up from a mediocre score of 7.4, which is what we gave it in our Resident Evil: Revelations review. You can keep up to date on all the latest Resident Evil news right here on BeefJack.
