Finnish independent game studio, Theory Interactive, has announced Reset – a first person singleplayer co-op puzzle game for PC.
Yes, that’s “singleplayer co-op” in one phrase. Confused? Here’s the official word from the Finnish developer:
“”Single player co-op?” you ask. The unique game mechanic in Reset is the ability to travel back in time to solve puzzles co-operatively, with yourself.”
How exciting! We also know that the game will place strong emphasis on story and atmosphere, but instead of a focus on elaborate cutscenes the developer promises a different approach to game storytelling.
A few rather gorgeous-looking screenshots have been release along with the announcement, which I include for your scrutiny below. You can follow the game’s progress over on its official website. We’ll certainly be following this too.
