According to Alan Wake developer Remedy, the plot for the game’s inevitable sequel has already been realised.
Oskari Hakkinen commented on the plot for the so-called ‘second season’ of Alan Wake:
We do know where season two is going to go. Season one will have a conclusive and satisfactory ending but we will leave doors open for season two and we know where we’re going to take the story.
As can be expected, Remedy have not gone into great detail about possible plot elements, but have instead planted the seeds for the mass amounts of speculation that is sure to follow.
