So you know that new fangled 3D DS Nintendo is putting out? Well apparently it’s not just another Ds, at least according to Reggie.
In a recent interview with Business Week, Aime went out of his way to let consumers know that the 3DS is the company’s newest handheld platform, and will feature completely new, redesigned tech.
Rumors about the device’s power have already put it at GameCube level, which is about on par with Nintendo’s previous handheld system jumps; i.e. the GBA being on par with the SNES and the DS being on par with the N64.
Either way, it’s nice to know that the 3DS won’t be just another DS iteration; though, if anything, this interview continues to nail home just how obsolete the DSI XL really is.
