Wii U title Rayman Legends has been delayed until 2013, confirms Ubisoft. The platformer has been moved to a 2013 first quarter release date.
According to Ubisoft, the delay is to fine-tweak the game and to give the developers more time. Speaking to GameSpot, Ubsioft said they were “happy that fans are excited about the game, and we are taking the time to make sure we deliver a game that lives up to and hopefully exceeds their expectations,” adding “we’ll have more details to share soon”.
I had the chance to play Rayman Legends at Eurogamer this year and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. The touch screen co-op is a nice feature, admittedly unnecessary, but it was a fun game to play with others.
