Sony is slashing price of the PSP 300 to $130, a substantial cut from the previous price of $170.
Additionally bundles of the 3000 will also be reduced to $160. The PSP Go will remain $200 until further notice.
These reduced prices can only be deemed as preparation for the next generation portables on the horizon.
All good deals, and with these savings the PSP will undoubtedly become very tempting for bargain hunters.

I doubt both are dying. What usually ends up happening is prices are lowered, and not too long after a new device is released.
Lowered prices don’t always mean the end to things.

Oh, bummer. But then again, you never know about these types of things. Sometimes prices lower, and sometimes they don’t. The bright side is, you have one.
