A recent hands-on preview of the upcoming movie video-game Toy Story 3 has revealed some exciting new features.
First off, we know that if you play the PS3 version of the game, you will have the ability to play as the evil Zurg, arch nemesis to Buzz Lightyear, but now we know how Zurg enters the theatre of childishness which most adults don’t want to admit they enjoy.
Zurg can be accessed in the new Toy-Box mode which will be a sandbox for players to make their own cities out of toys they have acquired through completing missions. It’s very easy to play as Zurg, and all you have to do is buy a special toy in Toy-Box mode. Once this is done, the special toy can be used to transform you into the dark lord himself.
The intial excitement for me rested in the news that Zurg will be a playable character, but I think the idea of having one’s own virtual toy-box is something I can’t ignore. My inner-child is jumping up and down in anticipation!
