Plants vs Zombies 2 coming Spring 2013
Lewis Denby August 20, 2012 - 1:17 pmNews: PopCap have announced that Plants vs Zombies 2, a sequel to their absolutely lovely tower defence title, will launch in Spring next year. Not many details yet, but here’s what we know.
Plants vs Zombies 2 is a thing and it’ll be out next Spring, according to developers PopCap.
“Late Spring” is the current release estimate, unveiled today in a very vague and tiny announcement that referenced “hordes of new plant and zombie types and mulch more!”
“[The game] will include a bevy of new features, settings, and situations, designed to delight the franchise’s tens of millions of fans around the world,” sez the press release. “No other details of the highly anticipated new installment in the franchise are available at this time.”
So, that’s all we’ve got for now. Still, Plants vs Zombies was brilliant and awesome and perfectly bridged that nasty core/casual gap, so let’s hope their next go will do the same.
