Planets under Attack released on XBLA and PSN
Sean Cargle November 17, 2012 - 12:35 amNews: The indie space strategy game Planets under Attack has just released today on the Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network.

Targem Games has made a 1-4 player strategy game that has players controlling various races in an attempt to conquer star systems through force and strategy. Planets under Attack has a similar gameplay style to Eufloria, in which you control several planets that build up units and you send groups of your units to capture various types of planets, like fortress, bank, or metropolis planet types. It is unclear how much depth Planets under Attack has, but it does follow that basic style of gameplay and each race has unique skills. However, you may already know the game intimately since it came out on PC a month ago.
Planets under Attack isn’t asking you go into the game blind, for each version does have a demo/trial version available. The full game features a complete multiplayer with a elimination, king of the hill, capture, and domination mode. There are eighteen different multiplayer maps and the game seems pretty focused on multiplayer with not a lot of focus on a singleplayer campaign or anything like that. The whole thing costs $15 and it is all available now on XBLA and PSN. Take a look at some gameplay from the PC version.
