When Phoenix Wright is not busy fighting Marvel characters in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, he’s starring in live action Japanese movies. A few scenes from the upcoming Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney movie have been revealed on a morning Japanese variety show. If you ignore the show guests talking over the footage, you can catch some well-known characters from the games. Of course, you can also see Wright go “Objection!” followed by a side by side comparison to the game’s version of the gesture.
A trailer is scheduled for release on November 4, while the movie itself will be hitting theaters in Japan on February 11 under the name Gyakuten Saiban. And after that, the rest of the world… we hope.
