Our favorite purple friend is coming back on PSN
Anthony Shelton December 7, 2012 - 7:31 pmNo, silly. We’re talking about Spyro the Dragon.

Relax. Take a breath. It’s okay. I’m talking about Spyro the Dragon. According to the EU Playstation Blog, Spyro the Dragon will be returning on the EU Playstation Network next week, December 12. It’s been a while since we’ve seen this platforming character, so anyone who’s been missing the little purple guy, be happy.
The good news is, in addition to the first game, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon are also coming on the same day. The only caveat to all of this is that the games being released on the network are emulated NTSC versions, so there may PAL related issues, pal.
Sony must be hearing a lot more about Spyro since the release of Playstation All-Stars, or they’re finally realizing the people actually like Spyro. The fact that these are emulated versions is a little disappointing, but the bright side is that the original integrity and nostalgia will remain.
