The Wii is notorious for being out of stock at high retail times of the year when EVERYBODY wants it. Yes that’s right, Christmas. It’s only around the corner!
With the holiday season swiftly stalking us and forcing us to think about what new electronic toy to buy for the kids, Nintendo says that it does not expect to suffer any shortages of the DS or the Wii.
This is a big promise to make, and there’s a big group of people out there who are sure to be very disappointed and unimpressed if Nintendo can’t live up to this stellar task.
Fils-Aime of Nintendo had the following comment:
We have a tremendous amount of product in inventory
We’ve been flowing product into retail. We do not expect to have shortages on our products. Now, if we do experience them, I’d love to have that problem, but we’re not seeing that happening this year
Here’s hoping the kids won’t be crying their eyes out this year. You hear that Nintendo? Think of the kids!
