Nintendo announce an announcement – also Pokémon

The announcement of an announcement always elicits huge excitement here at Beefjack, “What might they be announcing?” we cry. Those of us who have other jobs will often curse the announcer, asking why they didn’t give us fair warning by announcing the announcement of an announcement, giving us an opportunity to book time off. In this instance though, I’ll forgive Nintendo for their oversight for two reasons, firstly it’s a Pokémon video, secondly Nintendo President Iwata himself will be heading up the video, which suggests it’s more likely to be a game of some sort than another merchandise line. Nintendo Europe stated that the PokémonDirect video will be available from 12 noon CET (11am GMT, 6am EST) tomorrow.
Pokémon fansite Serebii.net are suggesting that the video will be around 10 minutes long, which goes further to suggest we might be looking at a new game.
