Ni No Kuni sequel depends on overseas sales
Yuliya Geikhman April 18, 2012 - 5:23 amNews: A Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch sequel is very possible, and it all depends on how the first game does outside of Japan.
In an interview with Famitsu (thanks Adriasang!), Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino has stated that Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch will get a continuation if sales do well overseas. And there is a good chance that the Level-5 and Studio Ghibli collaboration will be successful. Hino brings up Level-5 games such as the Professor Layton series and Dark Cloud, both of which saw huge successes outside of Japan.
If the idea of a game made by Level-5 and Studio Ghibli doesn’t make you giddy, maybe you should watch the Ni No Kuni trailer. Ni No Kuni will be released in the West sometime early next year. Until then we’ll keep you updated on all the latest Ni No Kuni news right here on BeefJack.
