Nexon creates new world in MapleStory for the Maple elite
Anthony Shelton February 28, 2013 - 6:19 pmNexus opens a new world in MapleStory, exclusive to players leveled 150 or above, that is set to feature the toughest enemies in the entire game.

There are people who still play MapleStory. You might still play the 2D MMORPG. Personally, I haven’t played it though I’ve been meaning to. But I know people who’ve been playing since the beginning and by now they’re probably level 150 or above. If you’re around that level, Nexus has a challenging treat for you.
Anyone who’s reached a time-consuming level of 150 or above will be able to enter another “dimension” (as Nexus puts it) called the Supreme World. In this world, you’re treated to, what Nexus touts as, the most difficult enemies you’ll face in all of MapleStory. But before you can set foot into this other dimension, you’ll have to pass two special quests. There are no details about what those quests actually are or what you do. I’m imagining them being pretty difficult, though.
Knowing that there are a few people out there who’ve stopped playing, Nexus is hosting a special event until March 13 in which any returning players will receive a special item. For some reason, the developers also believe that new players will accept this challenge, so they’re offering XP boosts to help the newbies level up faster. I have to admit, it’s rather enticing, but I’m still afraid of the time commitment.
Nexus recently raised the level cap to 250, and I’m sure there are players who’ve reached that or are very close to it. My question is, how challenging is the Superme World for those players? And if it’s challenging for them, how will anyone at 150 fair?
Good luck to anyone willing to take on the challenge.
