New world record set for most people dressed as video game characters
Yuliya Geikhman October 12, 2011 - 2:13 amBuyseasons INC has broken what is probably yet another Guinness world record you never knew existed: most people dressed as video game characters.

What do you get when you dress 425 people as video game characters? One broken world record. Milwaukee-based costume company Buyseasons INC got 425 of its employees together and into video game costumes. The Super Mario Brothers hung out with some Angry Birds and many others to set a new Guinness world record for most people dressed as video game characters.
The previous record was held by 376 video game convention-goers in London. “We are thrilled to now hold the current world record in this category,” said Buyseasons President and CEO Daniel Haight, according to World Records Academy. “Our team works tirelessly to ship millions of Halloween costumes to our customers, but today the celebration was all about them!” If the cosplayers got into character as well as costumes, I can only imagine the after-party.
