News: New Super Mario Bros. 2 is coming to the 3DS, but not all of it, or with the potential for extra content – depends how you view DLC.
Huzzah, I can finally give extra monies for the game I’ve bought on my handheld. Nothing could give me more joy in the wor…wait a second. Give me a even blacked out, what I’d be saying is too rude break. Stop it, stop it now developers. I don’t want DLC. I certainly don’t want DLC that means paying for individual levels in a game that is nothing but short levels. So the news that Super Mario Bros. 2 comes with DLC isn’t a good thing. Nintendo shouldn’t be announcing it with joyous grins. It’s as bad as the press conferences at E3 where people were proudly announcing exclusivity to Xbox or with day one DLC only on Playstation. Why is it good for the gamer?
Hmm. Mini rant over the verging-on-Rambo-film-naming convention-ly-named New Super Mario Bros. 2 is coming to the 3DS on the 17th August.
