If you were confused at the announcement of the new RTS game with time travel have no fear a few videos have been released to help you out, maybe.
Achron is a new take on the RTS genre, presented by Hazardous Software. Achron allows players to go back in time and manipulate previous actions such as the movement of units or using a different strategy so that they you have a better outcome then before.
These changes occur at specific intervals and have a big effect on gameplay as even when your rival goes back in time to gain the advantage you can do the same and undo his changes.
Take a look at the video at this link for an idea of just how this works. Don’t worry if you don’t quite understand what is going on, I have the same problem. The concept seems deep and quite interesting. Who knows if such a concept will actually go to retail but even now the possibilities are endless.
