New patch for PS3 promises security updates

Everyone’s fully aware how serious the hacker situation is on the PlayStation 3, even Sony. The official PlayStation blog informs users that a new system update will be released soon, version 3.56.
The update according to Sony employee Eric Lempel is a “Minor update that adds a security patch”.
Perfect, so I have to wait another 15 minutes before I can start up any games tonight. I’m so happy that at least Sony can get rid of the evil monster hackers.
