Public service announcement time!
As we reported last month, Netflix had started shipping a limited number of discs that would allow Wii users to stream the service’s content directly to their systems in what was being billed a test period.
That test period has since finished and all Netflix users looking to get their hands on a streaming disc now can. Like the PS3 before it, users simply have to add one of the special cd’s to their like a normal movie and wait for it to be delivered.
Like the PS3 disc users do not have to return it.
Note that HD streaming is not available with the service, but if the Wii is your only system, it’s still a nice little service to have.
