Square Enix has been calling on some familiar faces for the KH sequel: Neku from The World Ends With You will be a Kingdom Hearts 3D character.
The World Ends With You is a fun, frantic, and dark DS game. And now the main character, Neku, will be joining Mickey, Sora, and the gang as the newest KH3D character.
This is not such a big surprise, as Tetsuya Nomura is the mind behind both games. This is, though, a first for Kingdom Hearts. As Siliconera points out, so far the KH character roster has consisted of Disney, Final Fantasy, and original characters.
There’s no word yet on whether Neku gets to keep using his weapon of choice: the pin. But he will definitely fit in with the KH universe. Don’t worry if you’re already having trouble distinguishing between the spiky blond-haire, light-eyed characters of KH – Neku’s the one with the headphones!
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is scheduled for release on the Nintendo 3DS sometime in 2012. In the meantime, why not read up on our Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep review to help you decide if this is a game to look forward to or not.

To be honest, I thought there was some unlockable character in TWEWY that I missed out on! So before even reading the article I searched for an unlockable. Haha, good times Yuliya.
