Modern Warfare 3 strategist praises Battlefield 3
Lewis Denby August 24, 2011 - 9:00 amModern Warfare 3 creative strategist, Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling, has been praising rival shooter Battlefield 3 after playing an hour of it at Gamescom.

The rivalry between Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 continues, but Infinity Ward’s creative strategist Robert Bowling has been keen to stay out of it.
Previously he said that Battlefield fans are admirably passionate, rather than bloody annoying. And now, he’s managed to go hands-on with DICE’s rival shooter at Gamescom.
Turns out, he loves it.
“GamesCom completed! Spent an hour playing @Battlefield 3 multiplayer with friends from DICE, I loved it!” he wrote on Twitter, adding that Batman: Arkham City was “amazing”.
It’s nice to see a bit of love between the rivals. Especially after EA boss John Riccitiello essentially admitted that he hopes Call of Duty fails.
Both games are out soon. Exciting times are afoot.
