Modern Warfare 3 Patch 1.09 now live on Xbox 360, PS3 next week
Simon Williams February 22, 2012 - 12:30 pmNews: The latest Title Update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is now available for download on the Xbox 360, with Patch 1.09 bringing 400 new ranks and five additional prestige levels – but PS3 players will have to wait until February 28th.
Xbox 360 owners can finally join their PC counterparts in ranking up five further prestige levels in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – but PS3 CoD players still have another week to wait.
Modern Warfare 3 Title Update 1.09 is now available for download on Xbox Live, bringing the following improvements:
- 400 new ranks included in 5 new prestige levels.
- Also adds the ability to view Clan Rank on player card in-game when enlisted in a clan on Call of Duty: Elite.
The update is mandatory, and weighs in at 5MB. It will come to the PS3 on February 28th, Robert Bowling confirmed yesterday.
Yesterday also saw the new Call of Duty: Elite DLC map, Overwatch, released on the Xbox 360. PS3 users will finally receive the first two map releases – Piazza and LIberation – also next week.
