Modern Warfare 3 Patch 1.08 out on PS3 “very soon” – Bowling

Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling has stated that the latest Title Update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – Patch 1.08 – should be hitting the PS3 in the immediate future.

Infinity Ward’s FourZeroTwo AKA Robert Bowling has been busy addressing PS3 owners’ concerns over Patch 1.08 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – more precisely, exactly when is it coming out?

The latest Title Update for the FPS juggernaut has already made its way on to Xbox 360 – and we’ve already covered the changes and tweaks included – but PS3 CoD players are still twiddling their thumbs. But not for much longer, Bowling promised.

Talking on Twitter, the Infinity Ward Creative Strategist said: “Its been in certification at Sony this past week and should be released by them soon.” He also noted that any delay was at Sony’s end: “I have no control over certification length, but its been in there a while so it should be very soon.” – apparently the developer submitted it earlier this month.

Bowling also stated that he has “been asking them to start getting PC updates out in line with others platforms” – the present PC update doesn’t feature the Akimbo nerf, for example.
