Mobile Steam app now available to everyone
Joannes Truyens January 31, 2012 - 6:09 pmValve Software’s mobile app for Steam has now been opened up to the general public.

Valve Software launched a mobile version of their digital delivery platform Steam last week. Well, they launched a closed beta that anyone could sign up for. Not much proving ground needed to be covered, as the app has now been opened for general use.
“The Steam app allows gamers to chat with Steam friends, browse community groups and user profiles, view screenshots and user-generated content for their favorite games, read the latest gaming news, stay up to date on unbeatable Steam sales, and more,” says a press release from Valve.
So if you’re looking to add Steam’s social functionality to your smartphone, head over to the Steam Mobile site and download the app for iOS or Android entirely free of charge.
