Minecraft will hit Xbox 360 on May 9th

Minecraft champion Markus ‘Notch’ Persson previously stated that he figured the game would hit the Xbox 360 somewhere in April. Well, he LIED! The CAD! Instead, Xbox users will be able to build giant peni… castles on May 9th. The sandbox building game will set you back a cool 1,600 MS Points.
PC users benefit from a steady stream of updates for Minecraft, but patches for Xbox games usually have to weather a rowdy certification process before they’re released. Not so for Minecraft, as those behind the Xbox port indicate that Microsoft may move to a similar updating system.
