Minecraft adds Halloween skin pack
Anthony Shelton October 26, 2012 - 3:49 pmNews: Minecraft is adopting a Halloween skin pack for the October season, and 100% of the proceeds will go to various charities for a limited time.

Minecraft has already adopted some interesting skin packs to change up the world, but now the game is receiving its appropriately timed Halloween skin pack. There’s a benefit for anyone picking up the skin pack, also. For a limited time, 100% of the money used will go to various charities, as told by the Major Nelson blog.
On the PlayXBLA page, charities such as Block by Block, SANDS Lothians, Child’s Play, and Macmillian Cancer Support are showcased, and you can click on the charities for more information. The monies do have a pre-determined distribution method so donators can’t choose which charity they’d like to give to. Just know that when you purchase one, it’s going to a good cause.
Prices for the skin packs are based on region, but for the US it’s priced at 160 MS points. What actually comes in the skin pack isn’t mentioned. From a picture on the website (which you can see below), it looks like players can outfit their crafter with iconic Halloween characters such as ghosts, goblins, and even Frankenstein.

Previews of the skins are also available for those who are unsure if they want to buy it.
