Metal Gear Solid HD Collection release delayed in Europe?
Kelsey Jackson October 16, 2011 - 7:25 pmAccording to on-line entertainment outlet Zavvi.com, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for PlayStation 3 won’t be expected in Europe until at least February next year.

The U.S. is expecting Metal Gear Solid HD Collection to hit stores on November 8th for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Europe however, if on-line retailer Zavvi is to be believed, won’t see it until almost three months later. Tesco and The Hut have adjusted their release info to align with Zavvi. Amazon.co.uk and play.com, at the time of writing, do not have a release date listed for the game at all.
This German Konami release list is our only official clue as to a Europe day of release, and as you can see - Q2 2012
It seems that Zavvi were the first to know but are unaware of the reason for the delay. Metal Gear Solid fan-site thesnakesoup.org approached Zavvi for comment, “We have been officially notified that the release date has been set for February 2012.” was the response.
When it eventually gets here for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will feature three MGS adventures: Sons of Liberty, The Snake Eater, and Peace Walker.
