Konami have announced that the multiplayer Metal Gear is switching off its servers on 12th June.
Metal Gear Online, the multiplayer spin-off that arrived with Metal Gear Solid 4, shuts down on 12th June, Konami have stated.
It’s not all going to disappear at once though. First the Metal Gear Online Shop will be shuttering its windows on 21st March. On the 24th April the service will stop accepting new registrations. However, from that point till the power’s pulled, all expansion packs and shop content will be free so you can go out with a bang.
