An updated version of Men of War: Assault Squad has been teased with a public demo, including several DLC missions.
Remember Men of War: Assault Squad? Digitalmindsoft‘s devilishly unforgiving but immensely detailed WW2 RTS, released early last year, will be getting a GOTY re-release, including the base game and all the updates and DLC packs. A taste of the GOTY edition can be had with a new public demo, detailed on the MoW site and available to download here.
What’s in the 1.06GB download? “Two skirmish missions from original game with all released updates together with two new levels from DLCs“. Skirmish missions are co-op focused, but lone maverick types can play them solo too.
Assault Squad received a huge 9.3 score in the BeefJack review, and even reached 4th place in our preposterously coveted Top 10 PC Games of 2011. With this demo, there’s no time like the present to give it a whirl – just be prepared to see your little men die, rapidly and repeatedly.
